  • Keeping on top of household tasks can become challenging at times. I can assist with:

    • Light cleaning

    • Laundry and ironing

    • Changing bed linen

    • Tidying and organising

    • Household support tasks

  • Support with everyday tasks including:

    • Weekly grocery shopping

    • Post office visits

    • Running local errands

    • Essential household shopping

  • Freshly prepared meals can make a big difference to wellbeing.

    Support includes:

    • Preparing light meals

    • Batch cooking

    • Assistance with meal planning

    • Food shopping where required

  • Sometimes the greatest support is simply having someone to talk to.

    Companionship visits may include:

    • Friendly conversation

    • A cup of tea and a chat

    • Shared hobbies and interests

    • Walks and local outings

    • Support to remain socially connected

  • Reliable assistance for:

    • GP appointments

    • Hospital appointments

    • Clinic visits

    • Optician appointments

    • Accompaniment and transport where required

Important Information

  • A minimum booking period of one hour applies.

  • Travel is included for the first 4 miles.

    Additional mileage is charged at 45p per mile thereafter.

  • A client log will be maintained and updated following each visit.

  • Any parking charges, entrance fees or agreed expenses incurred during outings will be added to the weekly invoice.

    Refreshments purchased during outings remain the responsibility of the client.

  • Invoices are issued weekly and should be paid by BACS within 7 days.

  • Jenny's Home Support Services is a non-personal care service and does not provide:

    • Bathing assistance

    • Dressing assistance

    • Grooming support

    • Toileting support

    • Medication administration

    • Clinical care

    • Nursing care

    • 24 hour policy for cancellation without charge, any cancellation after this will result in a cancellation fee (50% of booked service)

    • 14-day cooling-off period applies following initial booking

    • 14 days' notice is required for alterations or cancellation of ongoing services
